Amerika Birləşmiş Ştatlarının prezidenti — ABŞ icraedici hakimiyyətinin başçısı. Vəzifə Konstitusiya konventinin (məclis) 1787-ci ildə qəbul etdiyi ABŞ Konstitusiyası tərəfindən təsis edilib. 1789-cu ildəCorc Vaşinqton ABŞ-nin ilk prezidenti seçildi. Onun bu vəzifəni tutmasından öncə, "prezident" sözü "Kontinental konqresin prezidenti" birləşməsində istifadə olunurdu.

Amerika Birləşmiş Ştatlarında prezidentlər 1789-cu ildən seçilirlər.
