Əksreformasiya (lat. Contrareformatio) — XVI—XVII əsrlərdə katolik kilsəsinin mövqeyini və nüfuzunu bərpa etmək məqsədilə Reformasiyaya qarşı yönəlmiş katolik kilsə siyasi hərəkatı.

İsveçrədə
XVI əsrin ikinci yarısı Roma-katolik kilsəsinin açıq çıxışına gətirib çıxarır. Bu ideoloji mübarizədə İsveçrənin katolikləri də iştirak edirdi. Katoliklərin ən görkəmli nümayəndəsi isə Milan arxiyepiskopu kardinal Karlo Borromeo idi. O, xüsusi olaraq İsveçrəyə «nəzarət» edirdi. Digər bir kontrreformator – fanatik katolik Lüdviq Pfeffer idi. Borromeonun təklifilə papa İsveçrədə daimi nunsiy vəzifəsi təsis edir. 1568-ci ildə 7 kanton – Şvits, Uri, Untervalden, Lüsern, Freyburq, Zoloturn və Tsuq öz aralarında «Qızıl ittifaq» bağlayır. İttifaq üzvləri hətt a silah gücünə katolikliyi qoruyacaqlarına söz verirlər. 1587-ci ildə 7 kantondan 6-ı İspaniya kralı II Filipplə separat sülh bağlayır.
Dini ziddiyyətlər elə kəskin şəkil alır ki, konfederasiyanın parçalanması təhlükəsi yaranır.
1594-cü ildə Pfefferin ölümü ilə İsveçrə katolikləri güclü rəhbərdən məhrum olur. Fransada IV Henrinin hakimiyytə gəlməsi və 1598-ci ildə Nant ediktinin verilməsilə ölkədə vətəndaş müharibələri sona yetir. Elə həmin il katolik kantonların ittifaqda olduğu II Filipp də vəfat edir.
Bütün bu amillər ölkədə kontrreformasiyanı zəiflədir. 1602-ci ildə bütün kantonlar Fransa ilə ittifaqı təzələyir. Bunun müqabilində IV Henri isveçrəlilərə 1 milyon taler pul ödəyir. Həmin vaxtdan İsveçrədə ayrı-ayrı dini münaqişələr baş versə də, ümumilikdə dini dözümlülük siyasəti möhkəmlənir.
XVII əsrin ortaları İsveçrə ittifaqının inkişafında mühüm dəyişikliklər olur: 1648-ci il Vestfal sülhünə görə, İsveçrə ittifaqı Müqəddəs Roma imperiyasını münasibətdə hər cür asılılıqdan çıxır və faktiki suverenliyi beynəlxalq aləmdə rəsmən də tanınır.
