Meşəsizləşdirmə — meşə torpaqlarının meşə örtüyü olmayan torpaqlara, məsələn, tarlalar, əkin sahələri, otlaqlar, şəhərlər, çöllər və s. çevrilməsi prosesi. Ən çox meşə qırılması tropik tropik meşələrdə baş verir. İndiki dövrdə Yer kürəsinin təxminən 31%-i meşələrlə örtülüdür.
